Vintage 2008 - The Vines Deliver

 After the devestating frost of 2006, we hoped that our 2008 vintage would restore our resources and Iron Pot Bay Wines would get on track again.

Happily we can report that we had an abundant harvest and
our complete range of wines should be available again by August 2008. 

Picking was not an easy time, with intermittent rain and temperamental grapes which took their time to ripen.

We are preparing for the Spring and potential dangerous frosts just as the first buds are bursting.

The fearsome frost-fighting fans will be in place and we are already logging the temperature variances around the vineyard.

What is new?
In the tanks at the moment are the following:

Sauvignon/Blanc Semillon
Chardonnay
Pinot Gris
Pinot Noir
Late Harvest Riesling

We apologise to our mail order friends for the missing Autumn Newsletter.  The frost took its toll and we felt we did not have  a lot to offer.
